Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage 4-5 surgical cases daily across a variety of specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, OB/Gyn, ENT, urology, plastics, colorectal, and GI.
- Provide comprehensive obstetric anesthesia services, including labor epidurals and emergency C-sections.
- Participate in a weekday on-call rotation, with the requirement to be within a 15-minute response window during call periods.
- Perform regional blocks for a range of OR cases to optimize patient comfort and surgical outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), anesthesia technicians, and operating room staff to deliver high-quality anesthesia care.
- Deliver 100% hospital-based coverage focused on the operating room and labor & delivery; no clinic work is required.
- Optionally provide anesthesia care to healthy pediatric patients, though this is not a mandatory requirement.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required.
- Active medical license or ability to obtain licensure prior to assignment start date.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology is mandatory.
- Prior experience and comfort with obstetric anesthesia, including labor epidurals and C-sections.
- ACLS certification and up-to-date immunization documentation required.
- Preference for candidates with a clean professional history, including malpractice and work record.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary surgical team environment.
