As an Anesthesiologist (MD/DO), you will provide comprehensive anesthesia care for adolescent and adult patient populations, floating between multiple hospital operating rooms and ambulatory surgery centers. The position involves a mix of solo anesthesia cases and occasional certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) supervision, with no cardiac, neuro, or liver cases required. You will work exclusively scheduled clinical hours, enjoying the support of CRNAs and an integrated electronic medical record (Epic) system. Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) – Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer and manage anesthesia for a wide variety of surgical procedures, excluding cardiac, neuro, and liver cases
- Float between main hospital campus and affiliated outpatient surgery centers as needed
- Deliver anesthesia care to adolescent (13+) and adult patients
- Perform both solo cases and participate in occasional CRNA oversight
- Utilize the Epic electronic medical record system for patient documentation and coordination
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality of care in high-acuity and ambulatory settings
- Collaborate effectively with surgical, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to rotating clinical assignments

Qualifications & Requirements
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology (or Board Eligibility if fellowship trained)
- Active state medical license required
- Current DEA registration, including appropriate schedule certifications
- AHA BLS & ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in anesthesia practice
- Experience in tertiary care or academic medical center settings preferred
- Regional anesthesia skills preferred, but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-based environment
