Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients for surgical, obstetric, and other medical procedures
- Evaluate and manage patient care before, during, and after anesthesia
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia as necessary to ensure safety and comfort
- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to develop and implement anesthesia care plans
- Participate in trauma, academic, and pediatric anesthesia care as part of a specialized team

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution
- Successful completion of an accredited residency in anesthesia
- Board certification in anesthesiology or board eligibility with certification expected within two years of hire
- Current, unrestricted medical license for clinical practice
- Active DEA and state controlled substance licenses
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Proficiency in utilizing modern anesthesia technology and electronic medical records
