Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) – Locum Tenens Assignment

Palm Health Resources is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) for a locum tenens assignment at a prominent academic medical center in Northern New England. As an Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) on this locum assignment, you will benefit from a consistent Monday through Friday schedule with 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM shifts and no on-call, weekend, or holiday duties. This structure supports a balanced work-life routine while allowing you to focus on high-quality patient care. The position is structured exclusively for inpatient hospital operating rooms, with no outpatient or clinic duties required. The academic environment encourages both independent practice and collaboration, offering the chance to supervise and mentor anesthesia residents as well as work alongside CRNAs and AAs.

The scope of the assignment includes general anesthesia, intubation, IV placement, spinals, occasional epidurals, arterial and central line placement, and non-operating room anesthesia services covering interventional radiology, electrophysiology, and endoscopy. There are no cardiac, obstetric, or nerve block cases expected. The electronic medical record system in use is Epic, supporting efficient and accurate documentation of all procedures and patient interactions.
