Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) – Full-Time in Louisiana
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) to join a dedicated team at a leading healthcare facility in Louisiana. This full-time position offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced anesthesia professional to work in a dynamic hospital setting that boasts a Level III trauma center and a multidisciplinary women's hospital campus. As an Anesthesiologist, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of high-quality perioperative care for a wide spectrum of surgical procedures, making a significant impact on patient outcomes. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about comprehensive patient care and eager to collaborate with a robust clinical team, including more than 25 CRNAs and six fellow anesthesiologists.
The Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) will engage in a diverse range of cases, including general, orthopedic, podiatry, neurosurgery, urology, cardiothoracic, vascular, and trauma surgeries at the main campus, as well as OB/GYN, ENT, and pediatrics at the women's hospital campus. The facility is well-equipped, featuring 15 operating rooms and multiple specialized suites, ensuring state-of-the-art resources for both adult and pediatric anesthesia care. This position features a day and float/night float system, with no in-house call requirements and an average of one weekend call per month, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) – Summary- Full-time Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) opportunity available in Louisiana
- Work in a Level III trauma center and women's hospital campus
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and CRNAs

- Participate in a day and float/night float system with no in-house call

- Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs, particularly for epidurals at the women's campus
- Ensure safe and effective perioperative patient management
- Work in two modern facilities with state-of-the-art operating rooms and suites
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

- Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Louisiana
- Cardiac anesthesia training preferred but not required
