IDR is seeking a Agile Coach to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Houston, Texas. This role will help teams successfully adopt and improve Agile practices to deliver value more effectively. Youll work directly with leadership and stakeholders to strengthen collaboration, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement.
Position Overview for the Agile Coach
- Coach teams and organizations on adopting and implementing Agile methodologies, including Agile and Scrum practices.
- Facilitate core Agile ceremonies such as Big Room Planning, Scrum of Scrums, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and removing obstacles to Agile adoption.
- Mentor Scrum Masters and teammates through practical guidance and feedback to strengthen Agile execution.
- Collaborate with teams, leadership, and stakeholders to align Agile practices with business goals.
Requirements for the Agile Coach:
- 5+ years of experience working in an Agile environment
- Professional certifications in product management, and/or Agile frameworks
- Demonstrated experience training teams on Agile principles and Scrum practices
- Strong facilitation skills for Agile ceremonies, including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Familiarity with AI such as LLMs, co-pilot, generative AI, etc
