Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our thriving outpatient practice in Dover, DE. This full-time position offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients in a supportive and collaborative team environment. As an Adult Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in improving patient outcomes, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams and health assessments for adult and geriatric patients (ages 17+).
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions using evidence-based practices.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate personalized treatment plans to optimize patient health outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff, to ensure coordinated and efficient care delivery.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR), specifically eClinicalWorks, for accurate documentation and patient care management.
- Promote health education, preventive care, and disease management strategies tailored to the needs of adult and geriatric populations.
- Manage a patient caseload of approximately 18 patients per day in an outpatient office setting.
- Optional: Provide psychiatric consults at a local inpatient facility, with no on-call responsibilities and an additional stipend available for this service.
- Contribute to a positive, patient-centered culture focused on high-quality care and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Current board certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP).
- Active Delaware (DE) state license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Delaware DEA registration or eligibility to apply.
- Ability to fit within a patient-centered, collaborative team culture.
- Open to both new graduates and experienced Nurse Practitioners.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
Work Schedule & Setting
- Full-time position based in Dover, DE.
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule with built-in administrative time.
- Outpatient office environment with no call duties required.
