Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage critically ill adult patients in a high-acuity ICU environment, overseeing 10-15 patients per shift
- Collaborate with attending physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and update patient care plans
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and perform ongoing monitoring
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, adjusting care as needed based on results
- Document all aspects of patient care including H&Ps, consults, event notes, follow-up, and procedure notes using Cerner EMR
- Perform invasive procedures such as central line (CVL, vascaths, introducers) and arterial line insertions in accordance with credentialing requirements
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary rounds, contributing to holistic patient management and care coordination
- Work night shifts, typically three 12-hour shifts per week, including sign-out responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and clinical best practices

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current national certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with equivalent critical care scope
- Active state licensure or the ability to obtain licensure in Georgia
- Minimum of 12 years experience as an APP in an ICU setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in central and arterial line placement, with required case logs for credentialing
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records system
