The Accounts Receivable Specialist (AR Specialist) plays a crucial role in supporting healthcare organizations by accurately managing payment posting and reconciliation activities. You will interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs), Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs), Coordination of Benefits (COB), and 835 files to ensure all payments are processed accurately. Additionally, the role demands resolving complex payment denial issues and efficiently reconciling unapplied payments, which is key to maintaining financial accuracy and supporting overall business operations. Utilizing advanced Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, such as Interactant (HCS) and WellSky, is essential for executing daily payment posting tasks and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Your expertise in using Excel and other data reconciliation tools will be critical as you analyze remittance advice and validate payment applications. You will work closely with billers, collectors, and payers, applying strong analytical and communication skills to foster effective collaboration and resolve discrepancies promptly. The position requires the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
