IDR is seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a leading healthcare organization’s collaborative team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing manual and electronic healthcare payment postings. You will be responsible for interpreting and applying Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs), Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs), Coordination of Benefits (COB), and 835 files to ensure precise reconciliation and application of payments. The role involves working closely with a dynamic team, utilizing EMR systems such as Interactant (HCS), WellSky, or similar platforms to deliver timely and accurate payment processing. This position is ideal for individuals who excel in analytical tasks, thrive in a collaborative environment, and demonstrate a proactive approach to resolving complex denial issues and improving internal processes.
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will engage in full-scope responsibilities that support the financial health of the organization. You will investigate and resolve unapplied payments, collaborate with billing and collections teams, and communicate effectively with payers. Your proficiency in Excel and data reconciliation tools will be essential for maintaining financial accuracy and transparency. - Proficiency in Excel and data reconciliation tools
