As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing both manual and electronic healthcare payment postings. Your expertise in interpreting remittance documents such as Explanations of Benefits (EOBs), Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs), Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs), Coordination of Benefits (COB), and 835 files will ensure accurate allocation of payments. Your analytical skills will be utilized daily as you resolve complex denial issues and reconcile unapplied payments, ensuring that all financial records are precise and up to date. Utilizing industry-standard EMR systems such as Interactant (HCS), WellSky, or similar platforms, you will process payments efficiently and contribute to the overall success of the team.
This Accounts Receivable Specialist role is ideal for individuals with 3-5 years of healthcare payment posting experience who are proficient with Excel and data reconciliation tools. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will collaborate with billers, collectors, and payers to resolve issues and improve internal processes.
