Accounts Receivable Analyst - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Process daily cash applications within ERP systems using third-party banking and payment tools.
- Retrieve and post lockbox transactions to customer accounts while maintaining proper documentation.
- Download and track daily and monthly bank activity, providing timely updates to the accounting team.
- Distribute accounts receivable aging reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide responsive customer service support for AR-related inquiries.
- Create and apply credit memos to customer accounts as needed and approved.
- Generate proforma invoices for down payments and process credit card payments through secure systems.
- Monitor and track down payments, coordinating with operations teams for order fulfillment.
- Perform daily cash balancing for internal and external bank accounts; maintain supporting documentation for internal controls.
- Manage open receivables, conduct collection activities, and recommend escalated actions or write-offs as appropriate.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and resolve outstanding balances promptly.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior experience in accounts receivable, including hands-on cash application.
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Experience with MRP or manufacturing-related systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline required.
