The Accounts Receivable Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the finance team of a leading manufacturing organization. As an integral member of the accounting department, the Accounts Receivable Analyst ensures that all accounts receivable functions are executed with precision, compliance, and efficiency. Working as an Accounts Receivable Analyst allows for direct involvement in the financial health and success of the organization. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who excels at processing transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and performing collections activities. The Accounts Receivable Analyst is expected to manage high volumes of daily transactions, apply cash receipts, reconcile accounts, and provide excellent customer service to both internal teams and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be adept at utilizing ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle, as well as advanced Excel functions, to ensure the integrity of data and the smooth flow of financial operations. Experience with manufacturing resource planning (MRP) systems and legacy platforms such as AS400 is highly valued. The Accounts Receivable Analyst will collaborate closely with team members across departments, including accounting, operations, and customer service, to resolve discrepancies and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.

In this role, the Accounts Receivable Analyst will be responsible for processing daily cash applications, retrieving and posting lockbox transactions, and tracking banking activity. The position also involves distributing aging reports, generating invoices, processing credit card payments, and monitoring down payments. Solid analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive approach to resolving issues are essential characteristics for success in this position.
