Accounts Payable Analyst – CAPPS, PeopleSoft FSCM Summary
- Key functional expert supporting the Accounts Payable (AP) module in CAPPS, focusing on system configuration, issue resolution, and compliance.
- Integral part of a public sector organization dedicated to managing statewide financial systems and promoting operational excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform advanced consultative services and functional support for the CAPPS Program, particularly the AP module.
- Lead and execute configuration of the Accounts Payable module, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and organizational standards.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the CAPPS AP module, providing solutions for system issues and optimizing processes.
- Support system testing, user training, reporting, and integration efforts to enhance platform efficiency.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, collaborating with related modules such as general ledger and purchasing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state policies and regulations relevant to financial systems.
- Provide ongoing support to state agencies, managing incidents and resolving technical challenges.
- Develop and document requirements, design solutions, and implement components for large-scale financial systems including CAPPS, TINS, SPA, and USAS.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial operations across modules.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Deep knowledge of State of Texas financial policies and procedures.
- Extensive experience with technical tools including App Designer, Integration Broker, SQR/SQL, BI Publisher, and SAP Business Objects.
- Significant expertise in system configuration changes and PeopleSoft FSCM version 9.2, especially the Accounts Payable module.
- Proven ability to analyze, design, develop, test, and implement system components for statewide financial applications.
- Previous experience supporting statewide systems such as CAPPS, TINS, SPA, and USAS.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external agencies.
