Your expertise in ERP implementation, particularly with platforms like Vertrax and Oracle Fusion, will be essential in streamlining processes, driving efficiencies, and supporting the organization’s modernization objectives. Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of senior accountants to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Drive the integration of ERP systems, including the transition to Vertrax and Oracle Fusion, to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliations, and preparation for audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure strict adherence to US GAAP, maintain robust internal controls, and oversee tax reporting, including federal, state, and fuel-related taxes.
- Partner closely with Operations, Finance, and IT departments to align systems, processes, and decision-making frameworks.
- Provide insightful analysis and actionable recommendations to support budgeting, forecasting, and business performance monitoring.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
- Demonstrated background in fuel distribution, logistics, or other asset-heavy industries is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience implementing ERP solutions such as Vertrax, Oracle Fusion, or comparable systems.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical abilities.
- Proven ability to lead change initiatives, build trust, and promote accountability across teams.
