Accountant - Summary
- Serve as a key contributor to the accounting team, focusing on U.S. gross margin analysis and reporting
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and manage both accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciliations
- Prepare, analyze, and report monthly gross margin estimates versus actual results
- Support audit requests and participate in process improvement initiatives
- Engage in special projects and support system/process evaluations as required

- Conduct comprehensive accounting, analysis, and reporting for U.S. gross margin in the energy industry
- Execute detailed balance sheet and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Prepare monthly gross margin estimates and analyze variances with actual financial outcomes
- Assist with both internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
- Identify opportunities for system and process improvements, contributing to a culture of efficiency and innovation
- Support special projects as assigned, adapting to evolving business needs and priorities

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a closely related field
- Minimum of three years of experience in general accounting and finance roles
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to process improvements
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Proven success working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines
