Account Manager – Healthcare Laundry Summary
- Serves as the primary liaison between healthcare facilities and the organization for linen and laundry program management
- Oversees the implementation of cost management, inventory, and quality assurance initiatives

Duties & Responsibilities
- Integrate customer relationship management at various organizational levels, addressing quality, service, utilization, billing, and analytics matters
- Oversee inventory management and maintain appropriate linen par levels
- Implement and monitor linen cost management systems and procedures
- Respond promptly to customer concerns, providing immediate follow-up and resolution
- Establish and coordinate Linen Committees within client facilities
- Conduct internal distribution and par level analysis, adjusting as necessary for optimal operations
- Evaluate product lines and provide expertise on linen specifications
- Identify and address linen security opportunities, coordinating physical inventory counts
- Apply infection control knowledge and adhere to healthcare laundry accreditation standards
- Implement laundry-specific quality assurance programs in alignment with hospital HCAHPS scores
- Collaborate with Infection Control Practitioners to ensure compliance with hospital plans and state regulations
- Facilitate training and education for client staff regarding linen management procedures

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of two years of college education or equivalent experience in account management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver presentations to diverse audiences
- Clean motor vehicle driving record in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Ability to travel as required, including overnight stays up to approximately 20% of the time
- Familiarity with healthcare laundry accreditation standards and infection control protocols preferred
