Account Executive – Insurance Sales Summary
- Serve as a primary point of contact for a diverse portfolio of insurance clients.
- Deliver tailored insurance solutions in Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life Insurance.
- Build, maintain, and grow client relationships with a focus on long-term retention.
- Participate in a culture rooted in support, coaching, and continuous development.
Duties & Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Proactively reach out to prospects via calls, referrals, and networking opportunities. Quote and close new P&C and Life policies monthly, focusing on converting prospects into loyal, long-term clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Conduct annual insurance reviews for clients, identifying coverage gaps and providing strategic guidance. Be present before, during, and after claims to offer support and clarity.
- Life Insurance Sales: Present tailored life insurance solutions, including both Term and Permanent products, helping families plan for the future with empathy and expertise.
- Book Ownership & Retention: Inherit an established book of approximately $400K in premium upon completion of onboarding. Maintain high retention through consistent follow-up, education, and collaboration with the Client Success team.
- Team Contribution: Regularly track and report on activities, attend team meetings and professional development workshops, and contribute to a collaborative, learning-focused environment.
Salary & Benefits
- Combination of base salary and commission structure with strong earning potential.
- Monthly minimum earnings floor and advancement opportunities for high performance.
- Commission rates for P&C (new and renewals), Life (Term and Permanent), and Annuities.
- Incentives include accounts in force bonus, double-century bonus, and annual incentive trips for eligible team members.
- Opportunity to inherit a substantial book of business and build on it through new production and retention.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in insurance sales or account management is preferred.
- Knowledge of Property & Casualty and Life Insurance products required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to proactively pursue new business and build strong relationships with clients.
