Account Creation Specialist Position Overview
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Account Creation Specialist for a project-based, contract role focused on supporting our operations within the IT, Engineering, and Technology recruitment sectors. As an Account Creation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our business opportunities by setting up and verifying accounts on Upwork, a leading online talent marketplace. Your contributions will help us increase the number of projects we can bid on, thereby growing our capacity and enhancing our ability to serve our clients effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and configure new Upwork accounts in accordance with company policies and procedures to ensure full compliance with platform standards.
- Successfully complete all required Upwork verification steps to activate new accounts, including identity and profile verification processes.
- Transfer administrative control and access of fully verified accounts to our internal team upon completion of the setup and verification process.
- Identify and refer potential candidates, such as friends or professional contacts, who may be interested in participating in the account creation process for additional earning opportunities.
- Maintain clear, prompt, and professional communication with the internal team throughout the account setup lifecycle, addressing any issues and ensuring smooth handover of accounts.
- Adhere to all company guidelines and Upwork platform rules to ensure ethical and compliant account creation practices.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and complete online verification processes accurately and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, particularly in managing multiple tasks or accounts simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with the team and report progress or challenges during each phase of account creation and verification.
- Willingness to transfer control of completed and verified accounts to the company upon request.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to refer new candidates who may be interested in similar project-based work.
