Position OverviewThe Accessibility QA Tester plays a critical role in ensuring digital platforms are user-friendly and accessible to all individuals, including those with disabilities. Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough usability and accessibility testing on websites and web applications to ensure compliance with accessibility standards such as WCAG and Section 508.
- Develop and execute detailed testing scenarios to identify barriers that may affect users with disabilities, including those using assistive technologies.
- Clearly document and report bugs, glitches, and user experience issues, providing actionable insights for the development team.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and other team members to communicate findings, discuss solutions, and advocate for accessible design practices.
- Verify that content is accessible across a variety of devices, browsers, and screen sizes, ensuring a consistent experience for all users.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on testing results, including recommendations for improvement and best practices in accessibility.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to follow structured instructions precisely.
- Strong familiarity with web accessibility guidelines, such as WCAG, and practical knowledge of accessibility testing tools and techniques.
