Warehouse Associate (P/T)- Weston, Florida 33331Monday – Wednesday (24 hours a week)
ARC Group is seeking a motivated Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team in Weston, FL. This role, scheduled for 24 hours a week across Monday to Wednesday, involves efficiently processing shipments and organizing IT hardware received from our client’s organization. Working closely with the IT professionals such as the Systems Engineer lead and the IT Configuration Center logistics and warehouse teams, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining organized inventory and pallets.
Job Description:
- Process receiving and/or shipping transactions using handheld barcode scanners.
- Verify vendor paperwork against actual deliveries.
- Sort and organize materials or items according to predetermined sequences.
- Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distribute items accordingly.
- Convey materials and items between different areas of the warehouse.
- Assemble and ship orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Load and unload containers following established procedures.
- Monitor ServiceNow queue and fulfill requests from ships for spare hardware.
- Respond to email inquiries and MS Teams messages from Shipboard IT or IT Project managers.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of relevant experience in a warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal communication skills for interaction with various stakeholders.
- Forklift and/or pallet jack operation experience required.
- Ability to communicate technical solutions and document processes effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Teams, and Excel.
- Experience with ServiceNow and JDE preferred.
- General IT/Infrastructure/Hardware knowledge or hardware/laptop repair experience is a plus.
- Flexible, enthusiastic attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team under pressure.
