IT Support Technician Position OverviewIDR is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our client on a contract basis in Lacrosse, WI. Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality customer service in a technical support capacity, addressing user inquiries and resolving workstation-related issues.
- Utilize ticket tracking systems and related documentation tools to accurately record support operations and monitor progress.
- Demonstrate adaptability by managing varying workloads, including special projects, priority requests, and high-urgency orders.
- Assess customer needs and match requests with appropriate IT solutions, whether related to hardware or software components.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold service standards and contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace environment.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within a technical or IT support setting.
- Strong organizational skills, with proven written and verbal communication abilities to effectively interact with end-users and team members.
- Sound understanding of computer-related terminology, including but not limited to CPU, Internet, Networking, Client/Server, and LAN/WAN concepts.
- Physical ability to lift items weighing up to seventy-five pounds and distinguish colors as required by routine workstation support tasks.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
