Workday Integration Architect (Contract) OverviewIDR is seeking a highly skilled Workday Integration Architect to join our team on a contract basis. This role is designed for professionals with substantial experience in Workday architecture and system integrations, offering the opportunity to play a key role in optimizing a newly implemented Workday platform for a leading client. The Workday Integration Architect will leverage deep expertise in Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and/or Financials, ensuring seamless connectivity between Workday and third-party systems through modern integration strategies. This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension, providing an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities- Serve as the Workday subject matter expert (SME), providing guidance on best practices and integration strategies.
- Design and implement scalable integration solutions that connect Workday with various third-party platforms and applications.
- Lead the transition from legacy integration models to modern API-based architectures, enhancing system efficiency and scalability.
- Operate effectively in complex enterprise environments, managing multiple third-party systems and addressing data dependencies.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure successful integration outcomes.
- Document integration processes and solutions to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Workday Architect, with a primary focus on system integration and enterprise architecture.
- Strong expertise in Workday HCM and/or Financials, along with a comprehensive understanding of Workday integration tools and frameworks.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in transitioning from legacy integration methods to modern API-based architectures.
- Experience integrating other HCM systems, such as UKG and Kronos, with Workday.
- Proven ability to manage and document complex system integrations in large enterprise settings.
