WMS Project Manager - Summary
- Lead Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation projects from inception to completion
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Drive operational transformation and support organizational change initiatives
- Ensure successful system integration, testing, deployment, and user adoption
- Utilize advanced project management methodologies to guide project delivery
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the full project lifecycle for WMS implementation, including planning, design, configuration, testing, and go-live
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies
- Drive stakeholder alignment and facilitate communication across warehouse operations, IT, supply chain, and vendors
- Conduct requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design activities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and executive status reports
- Lead user training, cutover planning, and operational readiness assessments
- Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve obstacles impacting project delivery
- Ensure rigorous execution of testing, deployment, and integration milestones
- Support organizational change management and drive user adoption strategies

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in project management with large-scale business and technology projects
- Proven track record of leading at least one full Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation
- Experience managing third-party vendors and software implementation partners
- Strong background in warehousing, logistics, distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, or supply chain management
- Experience managing projects through the entire lifecycle, from planning to deployment
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across business and technical disciplines
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery methods
