Warehouse Associate - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Accurately pull raw metal stock (including steel, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, and copper) based on detailed sales pick tickets
- Use industrial machinery and tools to process and cut metal orders to precise specifications
- Measure and verify cuts to meet strict industrial tolerances, ensuring each order matches quality standards
- Perform inbound and outbound logistics, including unloading freight, inspecting materials for damage, organizing stock, and packaging orders securely for shipment
- Provide support to will-call customers, assisting with order pickup and safe loading procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company policies and safety protocols
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to improve machinery operation skills and expand product knowledge

Qualifications & Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, metal service center, or construction environment preferred
- Experience operating industrial saws or similar equipment is a strong plus
- High proficiency in reading tape measures and performing basic mathematical calculations related to cutting and measuring
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs, with heavier items managed through team lifts or equipment
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to quality standards in every aspect of the job
- Excellent communication and customer service skills for assisting clients and supporting team members
- Required to pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process
