Warehouse Associate - Summary
- Responsible for receiving, processing, storing, and shipping inventory items efficiently using warehouse management systems and barcode technology.
- Supports facility maintenance and safety checks as part of ongoing warehouse operations.
- Acts as a key team member in ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational excellence across all warehousing activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and ship mission-critical service parts to B2B customers utilizing barcode technology to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials, performing quality inspections and accurate data entry via barcode scanning systems.
- Organize, manage, and retrieve stock within logical and physical storage bin locations using warehouse management software.
- Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of shipments, including truckload (TL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) logistics.
- Engage in regular physical inventory and cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy and support operational efficiency.
- Process and distribute parcels and packages to internal team members as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Recommend and support continuous operational improvements for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers through email, digital chat systems, and verbal interactions.
- Manage and order all warehouse shipping and receiving supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Inspect buildings and structures to detect malfunctions and recommend repairs, documenting findings with pre-established check sheets.
- Perform minor electrical maintenance, including replacement or repair of fixtures, bulbs, switches, and other components using appropriate tools.
- Conduct monthly safety facility checks and participate in ongoing safety initiatives.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, incorporating corporate principles and values into daily work.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned by management.
