Veterinarian (DVM) – General Practice, Emergency, and Urgent Care Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Veterinarian (DVM) to join our well-established veterinary clinic southeast of Los Angeles, California. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a dedicated professional with a passion for providing high-quality care across general practice, emergency medicine, and urgent care. Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive veterinary medical services in general practice (GP), urgent care, and emergency medicine (EM) settings.
- Perform routine and complex procedures including spays, neuters, mass removals, and advanced diagnostics.
- Diagnose and treat a wide variety of conditions, such as dermatological cases and respiratory issues in companion animals.
- Provide evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each pet's unique needs, leveraging the latest in diagnostic and medical advances.
- Educate clients on preventive care, treatment options, and postoperative instructions to promote optimal outcomes for pets.
- Collaborate with a skilled support team of four experienced technicians and utilize outside specialists for orthopedic surgery, radiology, and advanced imaging such as mobile CT scans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of five years of clinical experience in veterinary practice, with demonstrated proficiency in GP, urgent care, and emergency cases.
- Strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to continual learning and professional development in veterinary medicine.
