Usability Tester Job OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Usability Tester to join our remote quality assurance (QA) team. As a Usability Tester, you will play a critical role in evaluating user experience and testing the functionality of web and mobile applications. This role is essential in enhancing the overall quality of our digital platforms, ensuring they are user-friendly, accessible, and free from defects. Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive usability testing scenarios for both mobile applications and web platforms to assess user experience and functionality.
- Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and pain points that affect the usability or accessibility of the software.
- Work closely with development and design teams to communicate findings, provide actionable feedback, and contribute to solutions that enhance product quality.
- Test features across a variety of devices, browsers, and screen sizes to ensure consistent user experience and compatibility.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily or weekly reports summarizing test results, issues encountered, and recommendations for improvements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thoroughly follow structured testing instructions.
- Demonstrated proficiency with remote collaboration and testing tools.
- Familiarity with web and mobile app ecosystems, including navigation and usability principles.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, usability testing, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a desktop computer, laptop, or mobile device capable of supporting testing tasks.
