Quality Assurance Tester (QA Tester) Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance Tester (QA Tester) to join our remote team in Atlanta, GA on a contract basis. As a QA Tester, you will play a critical role in evaluating and improving the usability and overall user experience of our digital products, including both mobile and web platforms. Your input will help ensure our applications function smoothly and meet high standards of quality for users across the country.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive usability testing for various mobile and web applications, following structured testing scenarios to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
- Thoroughly document any bugs, glitches, and user experience challenges, providing clear and actionable feedback for development teams.
- Collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders to communicate findings and recommend solutions, ensuring that feedback is implemented effectively.
- Verify software compatibility and feature performance across a wide range of devices, browsers, and screen sizes to guarantee consistent user experiences.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily or weekly reports summarizing test results, observations, and recommendations to guide ongoing product enhancements.
- Keen attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow structured instructions and testing procedures.
- Proficiency in using remote working tools and familiarity with app ecosystems, enabling efficient participation in a distributed team environment.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related field is preferred, providing a strong foundation for effective testing and feedback.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a desktop, laptop, or mobile device to support remote work requirements.
