Tire Grader - Summary- Key role inspecting, sorting, and grading used tires based on company and industry standards
- Ensures correct categorization for recycling, resale, further processing, or disposal
- Maintains high standards for safety, organization, and productivity
- Works both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, industrial environment
- Inspect used tires for damage, tread depth, and overall condition to determine processing category
- Sort tires by size, type, quality, and designated processing category
- Identify and remove debris or tires that do not meet processing or quality standards
- Maintain established production and quality goals in a fast-paced environment
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving tires throughout the facility as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support overall facility operations
