Technical Writer Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis in Suwanee. As a Technical Writer, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products and operations. You will work closely with various departments, especially the Engineering Center and Engineering Warehouse, to ensure that all technical content is accurate, comprehensive, and compliant with all relevant standards, including OSHA regulations. This position is ideal for professionals who excel at translating complex technical concepts into user-friendly materials and who thrive in a collaborative, inclusive environment.
Responsibilities- Develop and document comprehensive operational and safety procedures with a focus on OSHA compliance.
- Create, write, and edit material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, and related technical and administrative publications.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure the accuracy and clarity of product descriptions and technical documentation.
- Review and revise published materials, making recommendations for changes in scope, format, and content to improve usability and compliance.
- Manage updates and ongoing revisions to technical literature, ensuring all documentation remains current and relevant.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar documentation-focused role.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and easily understood text.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of grammar and technical language.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all documentation tasks.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and technical documentation software.
