Technical Support Engineer - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain company safety standards and adhere to OSHA and state regulations when working on equipment.
- Actively support and sustain 5S practices to ensure a safe, efficient, and organized shop floor.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of polymer materials and mold design fundamentals.
- Assist with new mold trials, process development, validation, and optimization.
- Oversee sampling, shipping preparation, and maintenance of machines, molds, and ancillary equipment.
- Create and maintain thorough records of molding trials, processes, and maintenance activities.
- Participate in mold design reviews; provide feedback to improve bottle quality.
- Generate regular, clear, and organized project and routine reports.
- Inspect and store incoming materials and equipment, update inventory records, and report discrepancies.
- Diagnose and repair machinery and molds to meet company standards.
- Foster strong customer relations through professional presence and delivery.
- Utilize reference materials, manuals, and team support to solve machine and mold problems.
- Instruct plant maintenance and management staff on safe operation and maintenance of company equipment.
- Build relationships with international sales, service, and design departments to resolve field challenges.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, incorporating corporate principles and values into daily work.
