Technical Program Manager (TPM) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive program plans that address technical requirements, resource allocation, and project timelines.
- Lead and mentor teams of project managers throughout all phases of the technology project lifecycle, from initiation through closure.
- Oversee project scheduling using tools such as Microsoft Project, manage financial budgets, and ensure robust risk and issue management protocols are in place.
- Facilitate change management processes and regularly communicate project status updates to all relevant stakeholders.
- Proactively identify potential project roadblocks and implement contingency plans to ensure project momentum is maintained.
- Coordinate infrastructure deployments involving construction, cabling, and networking teams to guarantee seamless integration and delivery.
- Ensure all programs and projects align with the organization’s mission and strategic objectives.
- Drive continuous process improvement and champion best practices in program management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical program management within large organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical or business field, or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating large-scale infrastructure deployments, including construction, cabling, and networking initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage projects from inception through closure, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Six Sigma are highly advantageous.
- Experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Project and Portfolio Management (PPM), and Demand Management is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in project management software and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
