System Administrator Position Overview
IDR is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented System Administrator for a full-time opportunity in Nashville. This vital role is responsible for delivering primary functional and technical support for Salesforce applications within the Service Applications division. As a System Administrator, you will play an instrumental role in ensuring the smooth operation, configuration, and optimization of enterprise application systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support and management for assigned enterprise systems, focusing on system administration, configuration, and overall functionality.
- Respond to customer requests, including configuration adjustments, implementation, and system enhancements, while troubleshooting and resolving application issues efficiently.
- Develop and execute comprehensive application test plans and test cases to ensure robust application performance and stability.
- Coordinate and deliver targeted training sessions for users of supported applications, ensuring optimal adoption and effective utilization.
- Oversee data management processes, including archiving, purging, monitoring data or job queues, and facilitating data updates as needed.
- Support and maintain critical application interfaces and integrations, conducting user profile and license audits to ensure system compliance and security.
- Evaluate current business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct research on specific enterprise application functionalities and apply relevant findings to improve system performance and user experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a business analyst or system administration capacity, specifically within software applications or systems.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce applications, demonstrating familiarity with configuration and support.
- Background in business analysis, with the ability to interpret and address business requirements in a technical setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to resolve complex application issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience in coordinating and delivering application training to diverse user groups.
