Shipping and Receiving Clerk - Summary- Responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments within a distribution warehouse environment.
- Ensures accuracy, safety, and efficiency in all shipping and receiving activities.
- Works closely with warehouse, production, and transportation teams to support on-time deliveries.
- Contributes to a clean, organized, and safe workplace.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Receive, inspect, and verify shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Prepare, package, label, and stage outgoing orders for shipment.
- Accurately record inventory movements and maintain shipping documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment if certified.
- Organize and stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Assist with inventory and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse.
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Collaborate with team members across warehouse, production, and transportation departments.
