Shipping and Receiving Associate - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming materials for quality, quantity, and condition.
- Verify shipments against purchase orders and shipping paperwork.
- Safely unload and load trucks, stage materials for production and outbound shipping.
- Pick, pack, label, and stage outbound orders precisely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through both scanning and manual documentation.
- Assist with periodic cycle counts and inventory reconciliation efforts.
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers and internal departments.
- Communicate shipment delays, shortages, or issues in a timely, professional manner.
- Support ongoing warehouse organization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving is required.
- Prior manufacturing experience is required; metal production experience is a plus.
- Mandatory use of steel toe boots.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug screening and background check.
- Must successfully complete a tape measure test and a basic math test.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Physical ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment and consistently wear required PPE.
