Workday Integration Architect Position Overview
Join our team as a Workday Integration Architect on a contract basis, where your expertise in Workday architecture and integrations will be pivotal in optimizing a recently implemented Workday platform. As a Workday Integration Architect, you will play a central role in designing and building integration strategies that connect Workday with a variety of third-party systems. This role is a contract position with the potential for extension, offering the opportunity to demonstrate your technical leadership in a collaborative, enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as the Workday subject matter expert (SME), providing technical leadership and guidance on integration best practices.
- Architect, design, and implement scalable integration strategies that effectively bridge Workday with existing third-party solutions.
- Lead the transition of legacy integrations to modern API-based architectures, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient data exchanges.
- Collaborate within complex enterprise environments, managing multiple third-party systems and intricate data dependencies.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Document integration processes and contribute to continuous improvement of integration frameworks and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Workday Architect, specializing in system integration and enterprise architecture.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Workday HCM and/or Workday Financials, including hands-on experience with Workday integration tools and frameworks.
- Proven track record in transitioning legacy integrations to contemporary API-based architectures within large organizations.
- Experience with other Human Capital Management (HCM) systems, such as UKG and Kronos, and demonstrated ability to integrate these platforms with Workday.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex integration scenarios and resolve technical challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working in team-oriented cultures.
