ARC Group is seeking an experienced Senior Auditor (CPA/CIA) to join our client, a Fortune 500 leader in the healthcare sector, in a full-time hybrid role based in Denver, CO. Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and document compliance and financial audits according to internal audit standards and objectives, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness throughout each phase.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of business processes and risk factors to inform audit conclusions, ensuring all findings are well-documented and based on objective evidence.
- Identify and assess risks associated with business operations, providing clear and actionable recommendations for process and control improvements.
- Anticipate potential obstacles during the audit process and formulate effective solutions to address challenges as they arise.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with business and technology partners, as well as colleagues across the organization, to facilitate effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Communicate audit issues, findings, and recommendations to management and clients both verbally and in writing, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all communications.
- Contribute to special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned, supporting the organization’s ongoing risk management and compliance objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field is required.
- Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), or a similar credential is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in internal audit, public accounting, or financial/compliance auditing.
- Experience with Big 4 accounting firms or prior work in the healthcare industry is considered a plus.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or other data analysis tools (such as ACL) is required to support effective audit processes and data evaluation.
- Demonstrated analytical, interpersonal, and strong written/verbal communication skills are essential for success in the Senior Auditor (CPA/CIA) role in Denver, CO.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly to changing circumstances, and work independently with minimal supervision.
