Security Systems Specialist Position OverviewIDR is actively seeking a Security Systems Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity with one of our top clients in Centennial, Colorado. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with extensive experience in access control, database management, and integrated security solutions. As a Security Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and functionality of complex security infrastructures while providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities- Install, integrate, and program access control systems to secure client facilities effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SQL database issues related to security system operations.
- Manage and maintain databases to ensure the continuous and reliable operation of security systems.
- Integrate intrusion detection systems with access control solutions, ensuring seamless protection for clients.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, helping clients resolve technical issues and understand system functionalities, even under high-pressure situations.
- Travel locally to various job sites in the Centennial, Colorado area, providing onsite support and installation as necessary.
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent professional experience in the security systems field.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience with access control systems, including installation, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with CCTV systems such as Milestone and Genetec, as well as Access Control platforms including AMAG, Lenel, Genetec, CCURE, and S2.
- Experience integrating and troubleshooting intrusion detection systems, specifically DMP and Bosch.
- Strong technical aptitude, with solid troubleshooting and programming skills relevant to security technology.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, required for local travel to client sites.
