Customer Service Representative Position OverviewFrank Chiles – State Farm Agency is seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Representative to join our team in Starkville, MS. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a well-established agency focused on providing exceptional customer care in the insurance industry. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met, and enhancing their overall experience with State Farm Insurance.
Key Responsibilities- Answer incoming phone calls and warmly greet clients, creating a welcoming first impression for all visitors and callers.
- Establish and nurture ongoing customer relationships, following up with clients as needed to address questions and concerns related to their insurance policies.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing matters.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate individuals about various insurance options and help them make informed decisions.
- Sales experience preferred, including roles such as inside sales representative, outside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in written, verbal, and listening formats.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong capability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proven ability to assess customer needs through effective interviewing techniques and to relate positively to clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Must be able to obtain a Property & Casualty license.
- Must be able to obtain a Life and Health license.
