Key Responsibilities
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate clients about available insurance options, including auto, home, life, and health products.
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and recommend appropriate products and services to new and existing clients.
- Collaborate with office management and other team members to achieve both individual and team sales goals.
- Conduct product presentations over the phone and in person, ensuring a professional, consultative approach at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, follow up on leads, and support customers throughout the application and claims processes.
Qualifications
- Prior sales experience is preferred, whether as an inside sales representative, outside sales representative, retail sales associate, or through telemarketing roles.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales goals and quotas is preferred.
- Strong interest in insurance and financial products, and how they help people manage life’s risks, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about contributing to a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present product information clearly and confidently to potential clients both over the phone and in person.
- Knowledge of personal lines insurance products is an advantage.
- Must be able to obtain a Property and Casualty license and a Life and Health license; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
