Royalty Analyst Job OverviewIDR is seeking a detail-oriented Royalty Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of third-party licensing income, ensuring proper reconciliation of deal tracking records, and collaborating closely with internal and external teams to support smooth financial operations. This is a contract position with the potential for extension or conversion based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain up-to-date tracking records for all third-party licensing, including updating systems with relevant terms and release dates.
- Assist in locating and downloading royalty statements from third-party labels related to active licenses.
- Reconcile deal tracking records to identify outstanding payments and ensure accuracy in reported income.
- Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external partners to collect unpaid funds and clarify payment details as needed.
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable to draft and issue royalty invoices upon request.
- Support ongoing process improvements and automation initiatives within the income tracking workflow.
- At least 3 years of experience in income tracking, royalty analysis, or a related financial tracking field is preferred.
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with strong capabilities in Excel and related tools.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under time constraints and manage competing priorities.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
- Keen interest in process improvement and automation within financial operations.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
