In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the on-site deployment and commissioning of various robotic systems, including hardware, software, controls, and networking components. Acting as the primary on-site representative, the Robotics Deployment Engineer will coordinate deployment activities, communicate project status, and collaborate closely with engineering and support teams to resolve any technical issues that arise during the deployment process. Your expertise will be instrumental in troubleshooting system, hardware, software, and networking problems in the field, documenting and escalating issues when necessary, and ensuring their timely resolution.
As a Robotics Deployment Engineer, you will also play a key role in verifying system performance, supporting customer acceptance testing, and delivering technical training to ensure clients are fully equipped to operate and maintain their robotic systems. Preventative maintenance, upgrades, and ongoing customer support are integral parts of the role, as is extensive travel to client sites. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
- Experience working with industrial robots, automation systems, or related technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, software, and networking systems.
- Comfortable working in Linux environments.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with warehouse or factory automation systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with PLCs, CAD software, robot programming, or controls engineering is an asset.
- Skills in Python, REST APIs, or technical documentation are preferred.
- Experience with FANUC, Yaskawa, or similar robotic platforms is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively for on-site deployments and customer support.
