The Revenue Cycle Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of a revenue cycle management team focused on third-party accounts receivable (A/R) remediation. This leadership position is responsible for supervising Patient Account Representatives and ensuring the effective delivery of revenue cycle outsource services, including call center support and comprehensive A/R account resolution. The Revenue Cycle Supervisor is instrumental in fostering a collaborative environment, promoting best practices, and driving productivity and quality outcomes within the team.
As a Revenue Cycle Supervisor, you will directly manage staff, provide guidance on policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with client-specific requirements. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of hospital and physician revenue cycle processes, particularly in the areas of billing, follow-up, and third-party A/R management. Your leadership will be essential in supporting staff development, addressing escalated issues, and participating in client meetings to advise on trends and opportunities for process improvement.

Revenue Cycle Supervisor - Summary
- Supervises a team of Patient Account Representatives focused on third-party A/R remediation and call center support.
- Ensures compliance with client-specific procedures and promotes collaboration and teamwork.
- Serves as a resource for staff, providing guidance, answering questions, and resolving escalated issues.
- Participates in client meetings and advises on A/R trends and process improvements.
- Tracks team performance against key performance indicators and delivers feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage assigned staff and oversee daily workload related to third-party accounts receivable.
- Track individual and team success using predefined key performance indicators.
- Ensure staff compliance with client Playbook and Detailed Procedure Documents.
- Provide assistance by reviewing procedures, addressing escalated issues, and researching account inquiries.
- Lead training and ongoing education for team members.
- Participate in client meetings, providing expertise on A/R issues and denial trends.
- Deliver timely and consistent feedback on employee performance.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence in service delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of two years' experience supervising staff in healthcare revenue cycle management, with a focus on third-party A/R.
- Associate's degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience with industry-recognized Revenue Cycle Management Systems such as Epic, Cerner, Invision, Soarian, McKesson, Allscripts, and Meditech is preferred.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
