We are looking for a dedicated Restaurant Manager to join our vibrant team at a new, modern dining concept. This full-time Restaurant Manager position is crucial to ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering exceptional guest service, and fostering a positive environment for staff and patrons alike. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an outstanding dining experience by providing exceptional customer service, responding promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the establishment.
- Support, motivate, and guide both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, including hosts, servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff, promoting a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff activities to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to established quality and service standards. Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and training to enhance team effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to monitor inventory levels, conduct regular inventory counts, and manage ordering with suppliers. Ensure correct storage and rotation of food and beverage items according to standards.
- Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and service. Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation guidelines, and workplace safety procedures.
- Drive sales initiatives and support upselling efforts to enhance the guest experience and meet revenue targets.
- Participate in cash handling procedures, including reconciling sales and preparing daily deposits. Support expense monitoring and cost control practices to achieve financial goals.
- Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by company policies and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high-volume, casual dining environment.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
- Proven leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop team members.
- Thorough understanding of restaurant operations and service standards.
- Proficiency with POS systems and restaurant management software.
- Working knowledge of inventory management and cost control procedures.
- Adaptability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the full-time schedule.
