Key Responsibilities
- Guest Satisfaction: Deliver exceptional customer service to every guest, ensuring that each visit is enjoyable and memorable. Address guest needs promptly and professionally, striving to exceed expectations with every interaction.
- Operational Excellence: Collaborate with the General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and maintaining a welcoming and polished atmosphere throughout the restaurant.
- Service Standards: Uphold and enforce the highest standards of service in alignment with full-service dining protocols. Ensure proper tableside etiquette, menu knowledge, and beverage service are consistently demonstrated by all team members.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, including hosts, servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff. Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Quality Control: Maintain strict standards of food quality, presentation, and overall service. Work with kitchen and service staff to ensure consistency and excellence in every aspect of the dining experience.
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Support and implement initiatives designed to drive sales, increase average check amounts, and enhance overall profitability.
- Financial Management: Assist in monitoring and controlling expenses related to labor, inventory, and supplies, working to meet or exceed financial targets and support the restaurant's fiscal health.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols. Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a salaried Restaurant Manager in a full-service or high-volume restaurant setting.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Professional demeanor and strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a passion for inspiring and developing a team.
- Flexibility to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to support the needs of the restaurant.
