We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our award-winning, multi-concept restaurant group. As a Restaurant Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting restaurant operations, maintaining exceptional service standards, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for every guest. Key Responsibilities
- Guest Experience: Consistently deliver excellent customer service to all guests. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Operational Support: Assist the General Manager with day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and ensuring overall cleanliness and organization of the establishment.
- Team Leadership: Motivate and support both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, including hosts, servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff. Foster a positive work culture, encourage teamwork, and provide ongoing training and development to staff members.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate staff activities to maintain efficient workflow and adherence to service standards. Offer coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to help employees succeed.
- Inventory and Ordering: Collaborate with the General Manager to monitor inventory levels, conduct routine inventory counts, and place orders with suppliers. Ensure proper storage and rotation of all food and beverage items.
- Quality Control: Uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and service. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as internal procedures.
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Support initiatives to drive sales and encourage guests to try new menu items and promotions.
- Cash Handling and Financial Management: Assist in cash handling procedures, including daily sales reconciliation and deposit preparation. Monitor and control expenses to help meet financial targets.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed, including food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols. Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to motivate and inspire a team.
- Comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations and service standards.
- Experience with POS systems and restaurant management software.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and cost control practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
