Restaurant General Manager Position OverviewWe are seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead a fast-casual seafood concept focused on hospitality, sustainability, and ethical sourcing. This full-time role is ideal for candidates with proven leadership abilities in the restaurant industry who are eager to create outstanding guest experiences, develop high-performing teams, and uphold operational excellence. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the restaurant’s culture and ensuring the consistent delivery of exceptional service and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, motivate, and inspire a diverse restaurant team to achieve excellence in service and operations.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment where all employees feel valued and empowered to contribute their best.
- Deliver warm, authentic hospitality in every guest interaction to ensure a memorable dining experience.
- Remain hands-on during peak times, working alongside your team on the line and supporting daily operations as needed.
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including inventory management, payroll, and cost controls to maximize profitability.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the restaurant to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Implement and uphold company policies, procedures, and brand standards with attention to detail and consistency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and growth, actively contributing to the ongoing success and expansion of the concept.
- Minimum of 2 years of restaurant management experience is preferred, with a strong track record of team leadership and operational success.
- Demonstrated financial acumen, including confidence in managing profit and loss statements (P&L) and cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Current food handler certification, with the ability and willingness to work with and around shellfish and other seafood products.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to upholding high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and safety at all times.
