Key Responsibilities- Operational Excellence: Manage all daily restaurant operations, ensuring a smooth workflow across food preparation, guest services, cleanliness, and overall guest satisfaction. Consistently maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of restaurant staff. Provide ongoing coaching and constructive feedback to help employees grow and deliver outstanding service. Foster a positive, collaborative work culture that encourages teamwork and personal development.
- Customer Service: Set high standards for guest service and lead by example. Engage directly with guests to ensure their satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and consistently strive to exceed expectations. Promote a welcoming, hospitable environment for all patrons.
- Financial Management: Monitor and analyze financial metrics such as sales, costs, and profitability. Implement strategies to maximize revenue, control expenses, and achieve financial targets. Oversee inventory, purchasing, and cost control measures to support strong business performance.
- Quality Control: Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and adherence to established recipes and standards. Conduct regular inspections to uphold food safety and quality assurance protocols.
- Staff Training and Development: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all staff members covering service standards, menu knowledge, and operational procedures. Champion continuous learning and professional growth for your team.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a General Manager in the casual dining sector.
- Proven leadership and management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Deep understanding of restaurant operations, including both front-of-house and back-of-house processes.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong grasp of financial management, budgeting, and cost control within a hospitality context.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with restaurant management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Availability and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to meet business needs.
