We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated User Experience Tester to join our remote quality assurance team on a full-time basis. In this position, you will play a vital role in evaluating software usability, reviewing digital products, and providing actionable feedback to developers and stakeholders. As a User Experience Tester, your insights will be instrumental in enhancing the performance and user satisfaction of our web and mobile applications. This role is remote, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere, including Charlotte, NC, while contributing meaningfully to the improvement of widely-used digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive usability testing scenarios for both mobile apps and web platforms, assessing overall user experience and ease of navigation.
- Identify, document, and clearly report bugs, glitches, and any user experience challenges found during testing.
- Collaborate and communicate findings with development and product teams, ensuring that identified issues are understood and prioritized for resolution.
- Verify that software features perform consistently across various devices, operating systems, browsers, and screen sizes, maintaining high standards of compatibility.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily or weekly reports that highlight test results, user pain points, and actionable recommendations for product improvements.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to follow structured testing protocols and instructions.
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools and comfort working in a distributed team environment.
- Experience in quality assurance, user testing, or related roles is preferred, though not required.
- Reliable access to high-speed internet and use of a desktop computer, laptop, or mobile device for testing purposes.
