Usability Tester Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Usability Tester to join our remote quality assurance (QA) team on a full-time basis. This critical role contributes to the continual improvement of our digital platforms by evaluating user experience and performing comprehensive usability testing of web and mobile applications. As a Usability Tester, you will work remotely, collaborating with other team members and development staff to identify, document, and communicate issues that impact the effectiveness, accessibility, and overall quality of our digital products.
Responsibilities- Execute detailed usability testing scenarios on both mobile and web platforms, ensuring thorough coverage of user flows and functionality.
- Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and user experience pain points with clear and concise descriptions to aid in remediation.
- Collaborate directly with development teams to provide actionable feedback and help prioritize improvements based on user impact.
- Verify that software features and user interfaces function consistently across a variety of devices, browsers, and screen sizes.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports, summarizing findings and providing recommendations for enhancement on a daily or weekly basis as required.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and a structured approach to following instructions and test scenarios.
- Proficiency with remote work tools and an understanding of mobile and web application ecosystems.
- Prior experience in quality assurance, usability testing, or related fields is preferred but not strictly required.
- Capability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrating reliability and accountability in task completion.
- Reliable internet connection and access to at least one device, such as a desktop computer, laptop, or smartphone, capable of supporting testing activities.
